Well, I have a Z but it's a bit of a stretch lol!.

You could say John Peter Zenger or Zenger's Journal!.

He was an editor for the New York Journal and wrote a paper that attacked the governor of New York!. he was charged with seditious libel, and at that time libel just meant writing something that made a person look bad, weather it was true or not!. The jury found him not guilty because what he wrote was true, which changed the definition of libel!.

It really didn't have anything to do with the American revolution, but maybe you could say something like it was a major case for free press which was an important freedom colonist fought for, and it obviously meant a lot to them of they wouldn't of put it in the first amendment!.

Ok, I thought of an X, but I understand if you don't use it lol, this is all I could think of and it's an even bigger stretch!.

You could say the Columbian eXchange!.
that's when Columbus came over, and it was when old world met new world!.
The old world introduced horses, cattle, pigs, and disease!.
The new world introduced tomato, corn, beans, tomatoes, and potatoes!.

It's a huge stretch, because it had more to do with the revolution, it was mostly about how the Europeans impacted the Natives and the other way around!.!.!.!.but maybe you could say it tied in, because the Natives saw the impact of the Settlers, like diseases and things, and knew that if the colonists gained independence they would keep expanding (which happened) so most sided with the British to prevent the colonists from moving farther West!.
also the British made the Proclamation of 1763, because they were weak from the 7 years war and couldn't defend the Ohio Valley, so they asked colonists not to move there (even thought they did)
So the Natives might of interpreted that as the British were less likely to take over their land than colonist were!.
Basically it was a reason for the Natives to side with the British, not colonists!.

lol I'm so repetitive

I know that's a crazy stretch, I just can't think of anything else!. Good luck with your book!. Maybe someone else will have better ideasWww@QuestionHome@Com
