The Avtar is from Buddhism and Hindiusm!. They believed the Buddha and Gods could be reincarnated into an Avatar, it did not exist in the Greek/Roman Mythology, they just had say demi gods and son of gods and daughters of gods or gods themselves become human for some time!. E!.g!. many of the gods became human in the Trojan War and Achillies was a son of Venus!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
