what happened to Japanese immigrants during and after WW2 and do you want history to repeat itself with muslim americansWww@QuestionHome@Com

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Japanese were interned during world war 2 even though some of the children of Japanese migrants fought and died for America!. This was partly because of the need to stop spying and partly to protect the Japanese migrants form red necked Americans that would have attacked and possibly killed any Japanese they found!. Many American Japanese lost their homes businesses and belongings during this period and many were deported back to the ruins of Japan after the war with only what they could carry!. They lost their homes in America and were sent back to a country that had been virtually flattened by U!.S!. bombs!.

It was a fact that many Japanese had been deployed as spies through out Asia before the second world war and many migrants could have been forced to spy as they still had famillies in Japan!. So the the risk of leaving them free was high but the biggest danger was from Americans treating the migrants harshly and turning them against the U!.S and creating an enemy within!.

All the Western countries fighting the Japanese took the same approach as the governments of all of these countries used propagander to make its people hate the Japanese, so none of these countries were safe for Japanese families during or after WWII!.

I don't want history to be repeated but I think if a major conflict broke out between a Western and Muslim nation, nationals of that nation would be interned if the government felt they were a risk to homeland security!. However, it must be remembered that many Muslims in Western countries, even nationals of the waring nation may be enemies of the Muslim faction running the country and in that case must be treated as allies!.
