Things could actually have been worse had Hitler died!. Remember, he didn't create the mood in Germany at the time, he just played it up expertly to wind up in power!.
The war almost certainly would have have happened considering the hatred among Germans following Versailles!. also, since anti Semitism was widespread, the concentration camps would probably have happened also, but to what extent!?
The thing is, had all this happened anyway, what if it were under a leader who had the sense not to meddle in everything from weapons development to troop deployments!. The German war machine was very potent and had they not been hampered at every turn by that nut case, the war might very well have had a different ending!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The British Soldier you refer to is Private Henry Tandey VC!.
Hitler had the picture on his wall in his drawing room at the Bergtesgarten!. Chamberlain asked him why he had a picture of a British Soldier on his wall and Hitler pointed at Tandey and said "This is the man that nearly shot me"!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I think someone would have taken his place and started WWII just because so many Germans were upset by the Treaty of Versailles!. However, the world would have been likely spared the Holocaust and therefore, the population of the world today would be slightly higher!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I always thought it was Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain who travelled to Germany pre World War Two!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The german army intended to make a new war after WWI!. But it would not have been so racist and perhaps limited to France, england and germany!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Indeed! No Israel and Palestine, can you imagine, one war less!?

People wouldn't be warned about the dangers of racism, 11 september would have drawn much more rage, more anti muslim laws and there would be a good possibility the society collapsed!.
Furthermore the economic crisis in europe around ww2 would have ended differently!.

Should there be a marshall plan when there wouldn't have been a war!? The marshall plan was something like: "we give you money to help your economy, but you may not go with communism!." Communism was quite popular around that time!.

edit; 'cs Their religion the jews shouldn't work with !.!.!.trade unions!? Therefore the jews had own buisnesses and had much money!. That made the German people angry: the Treaty of Versailles made everyone poor, and the jews still had money!. The simplistic version of the story was something like; "hitler said, lets blame the jews!"Www@QuestionHome@Com
