I would have no problem with some day being designated for every ethnic group, though not as national holidays, with schools being let out and no mail delivery!. We could have a Leif Erickson day, a St!. Patrick's day, a Crazy Horse day, and perhaps a Marconi day, because I wouldn't want to leave Italians out, but just change it from a recognition of cultural genocide to one of technology!. As much as I would love to have Leif Erikson day, the Vikings didn't really contribute much to the country of the U!.S!. as it is today!. I think we really celebrate Columbus day because he brought the western Europeans along with him!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Right, because Leif Erickson and the Vikings did not recklessly slaughter anyone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
