In my opinion, i think that the Twilight series by stephenie meyer are very much like romeo and juliet

Edward is of vampire background and Bella is just merely human

Her and Edward fall madly in love at first sight but yet neither sides' family allows them to be together!.

Edward has to withstand the urge not to kill her because since he is vampire, the smell of Bella's blood is very tempting to him

This series consists of romance, several conflicts, foreshadowing and flashbacks!. Definitely a real connection to that of Romeo and Juliet!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
