Democracy, philosophy, architecture, drama- all great!.

But I think the most interesting one is their lasting contribution to art!. The works they created have been the highest standard for art- all "good" art is measured by how perfect is it- compared to the Greeks!. When Westerners think about great art- they often think of the Renaissance first- and that is based on Greek art!.

Many still think of the Venus de Milo as the perfect female shape, graceful, curvy and elegant!.
