Question: My history teacher said that they found a new pyramid thats apparently now the biggest!?

I can't find anything on it
Is it true!?

It depends on your definition of pyramid!. You said it was buried in the sand!. That happens a lot in Egypt!. The Sphinx was found buried in the sand!. Even the Egyptians had to rediscover it under the sand!. They didn't even know what it was for!. So this is entirely plausible and I even recall reading something about it recently!.

However, all pyramids after Khufu were "shoddy" because they were not built of solid rock!. They were essentially piles of sand with bricks placed on top in the shape of a pyramid!.

I do believe this is what you're looking for!. It's below the ground rather than upward which probably explains why they believe it's a tomb!. How would they know it was bigger than the great pyramid!? They measure the area of the base!. The bigger the base of a pyramid the taller it can be built!. I'm rather curious as to how much bigger it is than the "Bent Pyramid" because it was so heavy it began to collapse on itself!.
