Question: What do you think about Vietnam War!?
I bet all of you know that American’s army, air force, navy and marine has been sent to Vietnam long time ago, because they want to attack Vietcong!.
Unfortunately, Vietcong was so sly and smart, even the female sniper of Vietcong can sniped a lot of American’s soldier and sergeant!.

What do you think about this war!? Incidentally, Vietnam War happened and ends in which two years!?

I think, that in order for you to fully understand the Vietnam War, you need to watch "Vietnam, The Ten Thousand Day War", by Ken Burns!. Then, you need to visit The Wall, in Washington, D!.C!., or the Traveling Wall, the next time it comes to your town!.
While you're there, remember the faces of the young men and women from the documentary, because so many of them came home in body bags and their names are on that monument!.
One of those young men was my friend, Carlos!.
Not one single person in my Senior class, will tell you that his death was in vane!. We respected his decision to join the Army and when he volunteered for Vietnam!. We cried the day he left for basic training and the day he left for Vietnam!.
He died exactly one month, to the day, after arriving "in country"!.
We wept when we learned of his death, we wept at his funeral and we wept when the flag, which was draped over his casket, was folded!. I can still hear the rifle volley, after 42 years and I still remember how his mother was literally jolted, as if her own body was being riddled with bullets!.
We still weep and we still miss our friend!.

So, the next time you want to make a joke, concerning something you know absolutely nothing about, don't choose the Vietnam War!
