Question: Hey! Did Ancient Athenians have branches of government!?

Yes, they had several branches of government, including two assemblies and a council of generals!. They also had a kingship (Basileus), though in the case of Athens this position seems to largely have been relegated to traditional/religious roles!. They did not have parties in the sense that we do today, but there were certainly different political factions vying for control!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
