I think that one of the most not thought about effect any war has is the cross-cultural relations: the feuding parties are forced to study and/or learn about each other!.
When people learn about other cultures (no matter why), they take some of that home and may even utilize it!. This brings cultures together in a sense!. By doing so, creativity is sparked!. By saying this I mean that one culture has a way of doing something and another comes along and finds a way to do the same thing or practice it a different way!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Spanish conquest of South America left North America open to the English and French!. In that time period the Spanish Navy still ruled the seas!. If the Spanish had focused more on the northern continent then the original 13 colonies would not have been founded!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
