Of course it did!. The labour shortages that resulted when men joined the military, gave women the opportunity to take on jobs they had never been allowed to do previously - and to show they could do them well!. That freedom carried over after the war and helped give rise to the Jazz Age, when young women rebelled against the social constructions of previous generations!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
