Question: Need help historians feel free to help me with history fair topic!?
i need a history fair topic asap but my decisions are limited a little while the mainstream topic is the indivisual in history:actions and legacy my teacher wants it to be from1607-1877 and american history the sample topics i have are
Nat turner rebellion
jackie robinson
adam smith
elizabeth blackwell
dorthea dix
marco polo
prince henry the navigator
thoreau
roger williams
pancho villa
pls tell me if any of these are really great topics but i will love to get new ones (with the exception of columbus,john smith, and pocohontas)Www@QuestionHome@Com

John Brown is an interesting person!. You might enjoy doing something on him!. He used kinda terrorist means to try and bring about the end of slavery!. also there is Benedict Arnold a trader during the Revolutionary war, but when you look into why he acted as he did you almost feel sorry for him!. Henry Clay who was leader of the Senate and known as the "Great Compromiser", he was from Kentucky and played a big role during the history leading up to the Civil War!. He is considered one of the greatest Senators of all time!. Those are some that you might like to look into here is some general info on all of them!.

Honestly during these time periods I would reccomend these events for American History simply because it quite important and there is much information on it available:
- The Declaration of Independence
- George Washington
- The Articles of Confederation
- The Bill of Rights
- Thomas Jefferson
- Benjamin Franklin
All the above occur in the 1700's and i would highly reccomend them as topics you should look further into!.
