In my social studies, I've been given an assignment to write an essay about "Democracy Vs!. Dictatorship" where I give my opinion, on which side I believe is better!.

Well, I decided to side with the dictators, just simply because I find it more interesting and challenging!.

And so, I asked my teacher if there were such things as "Good Dictators", she said there were, and she called them as "Philosopher King" from Plato's philosophy as she believed that they had the ability to understand or already possessed, Good!.

She told me that I should look up these people that she believes to be considered as "Philosopher Kings"

Napoleon Bonaparte
Catherine II of Russia
Marcus Aurelius

Of these people, what was one or two good things they've done that has been very beneficial for their country, and perhaps something bad thing they've done or some kind of disadvantage characteristic they had!.

And if you like to add on a good dictator that you believed to be good, please tell me :)

Please, I don't like bias opinions about these dictators, I just like some facts please, since, people like to justify whether or not they're actually evil!.

Especially Napoleon Bonaparte, I can only vaguely remember of the things he's done, but know that he's done both good and bad for his country!.

And I find it, very bias for us (and society) to judge such people for their negative actions, since, society is written by the winners of history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
