okay, everyone is telling u that it's not real, but im sure u know that!. [at least now u know] if this is for an arguement or persuasian, then u don't need us!. "the beauty of arguement is that if u arguee strongly enough, then u will have a good paper", or w/e u have to do this for question!. u can arguee either way!. i dont remember her helping hundreds of thousands of soldiers, so idk if anything less would of had an affect!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Margaret Mitchell created Scarlett in the 1930s when she wrote "Gone with the Wind!." No one heard of her until the books publication in '36!. And Mitchell herself never even experinced life during the Civil War, she was born in 1900!.

So in answer to your question, Scarlett O'Hara didn't help to prolong the war!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

How could 'Scarlett O'Hara' do anything that would have affected anything, when she was fictional!? Viviian Leigh played her part in the movie, and she was born long after the Civil War ended!. & the author of the book (which was first), was born long after it ended too!.
