Then saw service in Cyprus, Malta, Libya, Germany then home!. The Beatles were actually famous in Germany from about 1962/3 before making it big in UK and then the USA!. Strange but true!. The most memorable part of that for me was hearing the Stones' "Satisfaction" on the tinny little AM radio in our '64 VW bus!. Interestingly enough, I lived in Sidcup, which is in Kent, from about 1970 to about '83 and many years later remarkably still remember the place!.!.!. Chis 'n Sid was my curse, though probably put me in good stead!. Never been to Great Yarmouth, and have yet to have anyone accepting darkish inebriated humour, though my partner, Horrace, the one legged inflateable horse disagrees!. I know all the songs, and personally, I have spent a lot of time in a bottle (Jim Groche), and would like to keep in touch!.!.!. I can remember when the Beatles came along, but I was madly in love with the Dave Clark 5!. They sure didn't last long!. I still love the Righteous Brothers (especially Bill Medley, and I cried when I heard of Bobby Hatfield's passing!.) and have over 20 of their albums (vinyl records and cassettes!.)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com The Beatles at the Hollywood Bowl - 1965: I remember my cousin and I driving all over Los Angeles during the summer of 1965, first looking for concert tickets, and when none were available, responding to every "Beatles-sighting" after their arrival!. No words could describe the frenzy in LA at that time!.Www@QuestionHome@Com freshman in high school!. the big problems in school were people cutting in line and not putting trash in the g-can!. every one carried a pocket knife and brought guns to school to show them off!. They took prayer out and see what we have now!. Instead of breaking in line they have rape, murder, and pregnant girls!. Where have the good times gone!.Www@QuestionHome@Com I was living in Bristol for the first part of 1965 with husband and a daughter (who was 5 in April 1965)!. I was working part time for a typing Agency and we were about to move to Worcestershire where we are still living!. You suddenly realise how time has flown when you consider the demise of your own parents and realise that your Mum was an old lady who died just 18 months older than you are yourself! Does that mean I have only 18 months left!? Since we sleep a third of our lives away that means I will spend 6 months of that time asleep which only leaves me 12 months to answer all these questions!
