Question: Who were those ancient warriors who wore wooden wings + feathers!?
I believe they were a calvary unit of some type!.!.!.they had wooden "wings" on their backs with feathers attached!.

I wanted to say they were a Persian unit, but I'm doubting that!.

Anyone know!? I've seen a few illustrations of them before in military books!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The 'winged knights' were known as 'husaria' in Polish!. The designation 'hussars' is derived from this!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
