Question: What are some ways that the American Revolution is remembered today!?

As a victory for independence and our very beginning of a nation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

As the previous responder proves, the American Revolution is viewed cynically today!. Its almost as if we feel the rebellion is something we must be ashamed of, something like slavery!. I've never been one to be ashamed of something I had nothing to do with!. The fact is, the American Revolution was brash, improbable and exciting!. A bunch of former British who would have meant nothing in the British homeland, along with people from other European nations, took a great stand against the king!. Should they have!? You decide!. But reading about it and studying it critically is a great time!.

I think most regard the American Revolution as a bunch of spoiled rich white dudes rebelling because they didn't want to pay taxes!. Well, that hardly does the magnitude of the actions and personalities justice!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

A good source for movies!.
Apart from that, it is only America, itself, that makes a big deal of it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
