Question: Important people in the battle of Passchendaele!?

for history class, i'm suppose to pretend i'm involved in the battle of passchendaele (as a canadian soldier) and i'm writing a letter home to my mom!. i want to mention some of the real names of the canadian corporals or generals involved in this battle, so it sounds like i did some research!.

The best thing to do is to look on the Commonwealth War Graves website!. There you'll be able to find the names of men that fell, their rank, their regiments and their ages!.

I'll start you off with these two - they are not famous, just 2 soldiers I picked at random, who died for their country - you don't get more important than that!

BURNS, CYRIL JAMES, Private
Canadian Infantry (Eastern Ontario Regiment)
Died: 15/08/1917 (Age 20)
Cemetery, none - Vimy Memorial
