5!. Three ways that Louis XVI behaved badly in the years 1789-1791 were the following: first he sent monetary support to other European monarchs where the émigrés, which were the nobles that had fled from France after their chateaux were burned, were located!. Then he and his wife, Queen Marie-Antoinette contacted her brother, the Emperor of Austria, as well as other emperors of nearby monarchies to form an alliance to destroy the French revolution and that way he could obtain his absolute monarchy once again!. Finally, his third mistake was to allow the entire family and body guards to travel together during their flee trip!. Since the traveling group was large, the coaches had to go very slow and the bodyguards’ uniforms were easily recognized by the people!. This caused his plan to fail because they were discovered and captured!. They were then brought back to Paris to face the decision of the National Assembly!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
