Question: How was the treaty of versailles unjustifiable!?
Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
Because it completely ruined the German economy and embarrassed the country to no end but was half enforced and had enough loopholes in it for Germany to become a world power again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was totally unjustifiable in that it did not provide for enough production of cheese or coconuts thereby guaranteeing the ruin of the Bavarian cheese and coconuts industry, which in turn led to the rise of Adolf Hitler whose father, it is well known, was a huge fan of coconut cheesecake!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Vive le Emperor gave a good answer above!. Honestly, in the historical context of things, it showed how you can't institute overly punitive burdens on a people after they lose a war!. When things are desperate people tend to look for extreme answers and National Socialism was just that in Germany in the 1920s and 1930s!. In hindsight, it was no surprise that a dynamic madman came to power under those circumstances!.

I will say that we have done better as a world since!. You will notice that the war reparations after World War II were not quite as punitive!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It was not the winners make the rules and Germany Signed it

and any country that makes an unjust war and loses does not deserve sympathy

as far as i am concerned England payed for WW2 lend lease 2003

so should the losers as hard as it might be why should the winners rebuild at their cost when we can make the losers do it for us

only some one NOT effected By war would say not Fair

you did not have to play in bombed Buildings and shot down planes

because there was no where else to playWww@QuestionHome@Com

France and Belgium were devastated and along with Britain and her allies saw a whole generation of youth slaughtered!.
I suppose the countries who were involved in stopping the German advance to conquer sovereign states should have just accepted an apology and be done with it!?
