The Holocaust was a gigantic disaster!.
Both World Wars in general were big disasters!.
The Titanic sinking was a disaster!.
9/11 could be considered to be a disaster!.
The 1929 stock market crash globally was definetely a disaster!.
The Tech crash in the 1990s were a huge disaster!.

These have been many natural disasters, large earth quakes, volcano eruptions, floods, many different types!.

For human made events I would add the Rape of Nan King, Pol Pot's killings in the millions as Stalin's starvation's of his own people in the millions, here too there have been many such events!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
