Question: What is a witch believing African tribe!?
It does not have to be a African Tribe!. I am doing a report and I need your help!. I am trying to chose an alternate setting fro the book "A Break with Charity" and write how would the book be different if in the alternate setting!. The book has to do with the salem witch trials!. If I could find a place on Earth that mostly believes in witches that would be great!. If you give me a place and a certain group of people that would be great!

I think I have found you one - it took a lot of searching! But it sounds lovely and authentic!. "Esit Eket", a district, chief town Uquo, in SE Nigeria!. The people are in two clans, the Eket Afaha and the Eket Offiong!.

As for the witch belief, take a look at http://www!.daylightatheism!.org/2007/12/t!.!.!.

Good luck with your book writing!. Oops, I don't mean I'm gifting you a witch's charm:-)

I doubt there's a generally consensus in an African ethnic group about the beliefs of witches!. Some will belive in them, others will think its just old superstition within that 'tribe'Www@QuestionHome@Com
