Question: People That Broke The Rules in Life and Ended Up Becoming Famous and/or Wealthy!?

I'm writing a report called, "The Rules Were Made to be Broken", and it's about how sometimes to accomplish something amazing in life you have to do questionable things and break important rules!. So far I've come up with Bill Gates, Napoleon, The Founding Fathers, and Otto Witte!. I would LOVE more examples! Anyone think they can help me!? :)Www@QuestionHome@Com

How about Abraham Lincoln!? He suspended habeas corpus, holding many suspected Southern sympathizers in prison without trial during the Civil War!.

How about athletes who use steroids!? They would seem to fit the bill!. Marion Jones!. Raphael Palmiero!. Jason Giambi!. Barry Bonds!?

Since you mentioned Bill Gates, you might want to look into Steve Jobs!. I can't speak authoritatively on this, but I recall hearing or reading something about Apple swiping the graphic user interface from Xerox!. But don't quote me on that one!.

In music you can go with Elvis Presley, the Sex Pistols!. You should remember and maybe include the fact that for each one of those who broke the rules and made it, there were thousands who broke the rules and failed: went broke, ridiculed, ostracized, etc!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
