Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
rivers lead to irrigation which leads to agricultural developments which allow people to stay in one place (with steady food instead of searching for it) and 'put down roots' which encourages procreation which increases population which encourages domestication of surroundings and animals so as to better support the growing number of people!.!.!.more people means more needs and more avenues for markets, exploitation, economic niche filling, etc!. which all leads to the acquisition of wealth which leads to a widening gulf between the rich and poor (the 'haves' and 'have nots') which leads to the structuring of social classes!.!.!.social classes perpetuate themselves and one benefit of wealth/upper class membership is free time which enables education to grow and flourish (because it can) and job specialization grows from experience and need - either you can study and become 'professional,' or the lower classes can pass on trades from one skilled tradesmen to the next (often between generations) -
of course there is no direct link between ability and/or potential and how much money your parents made/make!.!.!.but there is a correlation between the ability to reach said potential and the funds/resources available
