Eggs have been eaten since the beginning of human time!. Records from China and India document that fowl was being domesticated as early as 1400 B!.C!.E!. There is archaeological evidence showing egg consumption in neolithic times and the Romans found the Germans, the English and the Gauls were eating eggs!. Domesticated fowl reached America in 1493 with the second voyage of Columbus!. Food historians state that the Chinese were the first people to use eggs in baking food in about 6000 B!.C!. and the Ancient Egyptians were known to consume eggs!.
