I do not think there was a specific colour, but it was always a dark colored toga-pull, which was only worn during times of mourning!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

The toga worn during mourning was called the toga pulla or the toga sordida and was made of wool!. Traditionally it was a dark colour such as very dark blue or black!. White was used for baptism or weddings!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

White is worn during mourning in some cultures, but not by Romans in "Roman times"!. Black was their color of mourning!. In medieval times, European queens wore white mourning dress!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
