Not bloody much!. Three words: Strategic Air Command!. We still had nuclear bombs and missiles to spare!.

For a time, the Soviets seemed to have the upper hand in the third world!.

We didn't seem as invincible as we once did, but no one in their right mind would try to take us on!.

Our economy was hurting, but it was still the largest in the world!.

We were still a sleeping giant nobody wants to wake!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
