Question: Girl born without brain was kept alive on machines - What was her name!?

There was a little girl who was born without a brain(just a brainstem if I'm not mistaken) and her religious mother kept her alive on machines for two years despite that she could never live without machines keeping her alive!. The mother's reasons for keeping her daughter alive on machines had to do with her religious views!. The little girl never had consciousness!. She was referred to as Baby _____!.
