Position:Home>History> Were there any positive outcomes of Hitler's rule over Germany?

Question: Were there any positive outcomes of Hitler's rule over Germany!?
I only want Positive things that Hitler did!.
I know Hitler was the most evil person that ever lived, but i want some ideas for positive outcomes of Hitlers rule and how they have affected us today, even if they are just vague ideas, they will be useful!
For instance, Hitler commissioned Volkswagen cars, which are incredibly popular today so that is a positive outcome of his rule in some ways!.
and
I don't want people coming here and saying he did nothing good, because i just pointed one out or complaining at me for suggesting he did some good things!.

Anyway thanks for any ideas, because i have a splitting headache and im very tired and have alot of work to do :(Www@QuestionHome@Com

Managed to get Germany's economy back after the hyperinflation and depression of the '20s!.

Road and rail infrastructure!.

Used unemployed to do public works, thereby minimising public disorder/dissatisfaction and giving them a form of employment!.

Although it was way too aggressive and we all know the consequences, he did re-establish Germany's armed forces, which were supposed to be massively limited by the terms of the Treaty of Versailles!. This lead to increased naval protection which over the long term helps protect a nation's commercial shipping interests, hence enhancing economic growth and stability!.

The jury's still out as to whether it would have been better or not - but having a fascist state meant that a soviet/communist dictatorship was never going to take Germany in the 1930s!. To industrialists of the time, this was a major threat to the way business worked and many other European states were under threat of communist revolution!.

Some of the extremely unethical research his government supported led to scientific breakthroughs - particularly in the fields of physics, psychology and medicine that might otherwise not have been made!.

It made the rest of Europe unite and work together, putting aside other arguments and squabbles!.

It showed that - however tentatively - even diametrically opposed powers such as Communists and Capitalists can find a way to work and exist together if they want to!.

Not just VW - German engineering, generally was backed, which is still paying off for them today!.

Probably lots more!. He was an evil bastard, but he was bloody good at his job!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

-Big, wide, huge roads were built (eventually used by tanks) which made Germany a logistic paradise!.
-After years of economic downfall, German economy started to grow!. People believed in Hitler, and trusted him, so they were not afraid to spend their money as much anymore!.
-Hitler rebuilt Germany's industry (Volkswagen)
-Gave Germans a national identity after years or depression
-Hitler was very liberal when it came to scientific research and medical experiments!.

All these positive aspects, have later been abused by Hitler's regime!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Actually the reason he came to power was his rhetoric!. After WW1 Germany ended up devastated and the economy was in shambles, but people like Hitler prompted social programs of transforming and turning around the economy!. Inflation was the highest in the world!.
He re-structure Industry, Commerce, Science and other areas of the economy!.
The fact that by 1936 their heavy industry was producing in full gear, made all german people follow him into his venture to start WW2!.
Hope this helps youWww@QuestionHome@Com

Being that thirty million human beings are no longer with us all because of one man megalomania !. The only positive thing is that he is dead !. The yardstick of any human is would the world be poorer without them , in his case it must be said no !. Nothing that he did can in any way subtract from the horror of the man!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Yes he performed an economic miracle Germany was on its knees as the French seized the Ruhr valley for First Wold War reparations, then sadly he became deluded and decide to assist the nationalist in the Spanish civil war to try out his army and air force and was also building warships that were pocket battleships to get around an embargo on sizes of ships Germany constructed!.

We know the rest he invaded Poland and the UK and Commonwealth fought him until 1942 when the the US came in to the war after the bombing of Pearl Harbour by the JapaneseWww@QuestionHome@Com

There is only one positive outcome of the National Socialist Hitler lead government in Germany from 1933 thru the Spring of 1945: Germany, under the leadership of Hitler built the first cross county system of interlocking highways in the World!. They were known as the Auto Bahn!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

Pretty hard to find positives with a guy who contributed to the deaths of 40+ million people and the genocide of about six million Jews and "undesirables"!. However there were gains in technology and health (out of necessity) that resulted from the war he caused!. The war also created wealth and prosperity for the victorious nations and superpower status for the U!.S and Russia!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He got the country back on track after Weimar!.!.!. and then promptly launched it straight back into the gutter for the Allies to cut up!. If he had died before he began his campaign against whom he perceived as undesirables (which includes Socialists, the disabled and so many other groups as well as the Jews) he would probably be remembered as one of 20th century Europe's best leaders!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He created slick smart style among his soldiers!. Their uniforms were made by Hugo Boss!. They looked good!.

He used advanced technology and introduced stealth fighter jets!. Some of his scientists were behind some of the latest innovations!.

Hitler used IBM's groundbreaking coding system to database his victims amongst the concentration camps!.

he tried to unite europe but he went about it the wrong way, instead of invading countries he should have brought europe together at the diplomats table!.
look at europe now,its united through the euro or at least partially!.maybe hitler wasn't as crazy as people thoughtWww@QuestionHome@Com

The evil men were the ones who ran the camps and led the death squads, in my opinion!. Hitler was just a figurehead!. He was manipulated by others!.

No, the nazi regime did not improve the world one iota!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

He was the cause for the world not being more populated than it is now !.also he was cause of other nations to cooperate together to fight evil and promote peaceWww@QuestionHome@Com

For Home Affairs he did plenty!. He picked the German economy up off it's knees!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

everyone had his Moustache!Www@QuestionHome@Com

there are no positive in evilWww@QuestionHome@Com

they know no not to make the same mistakesWww@QuestionHome@Com

Th trouble with finding positives is that there was always a negative attached to it!. While it's certainly true that he revived the German economy, he did so by enslaving the Jews!. Everything is connected, people would not have had money to buy VW cars if the economy hadn't improved and it improved because he removed millions of people from their homes and businesses, the businesses were either taken over by the government or given to a German!.

You're looking at history from a very shortsighted perspective, all the "good" Hitler did would have been impossible without the rapidly improving economy and the economy would not have improved so quickly if not for his enslaving millions of people and taking away everything they had!. Can anyone honestly say that in this case the ends justify the means!? Hitler did no good that wasn't made possible by evil!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

This is a bizarre question!. I mean, they did medical experiments on the Jews in the camps, and perhaps they learned some things from that, but it is very had to call this a positive outcome and absolutely not worth any knowledge that might have been gained!.
The United States would not have had the atomic bomb, at least, not at the point it did have it, if it were not convinced that Germany was working on one!. The scientists were racing to develop that weapon before Hitler did, and they intended to use it against him!. The war in Europe ended before the bomb was developed, but dropping 2 atomic bombs on Japan ended WWII!. So, I guess that's kind of a positive, but to call nuclear weapons positive seems a bit strange!.
also, you're phrasing this wrong!. There may be inadvertent positive results, such as inventions, etc!., that came out of Hitler's reign, but this is not the same as saying "he did some good things!." Www@QuestionHome@Com

It wasn't actually Hitler that carried out any medical experiments (as suggested above) that was Josef Mengele!.

Hitler's main achievements include a complete revival of German economy!.

Under Hilters rule, Germany was able to organize manageable payments to other countries (Germany owed reparations after WW1), and write off a lot of their debts!.

The autobahn was designed to bring about mass employment opportunities and alongside this Hitler instigated 'Work Camps' which allowed workers to live at a work camp, sending wages home to their family!.

It was actually the economic revival he should be praised for!.

The commission of Volkswagen was arguably tactical!.!.!. he created mass factories capable of creating large metal framework for the VW, and Motor ways to minimize unemployment!.

Shortly after the commission the factories were converted to war machine and munitions factories!.!.!. the majority of development of the VW was actually after the war (under Western German rule)!.

Hitler greatly improved the German infrastructure building dams, railways and many Civic buildings to return Germany to working order!.

His main achievements include his economic expansion and following his fall from power motorways, scientific advancements (space programs), railway enhancements and improvements in machinery (VW) developed by Germany were exploited by its conquerers and are still relevant today!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

there was nothing positive that he ever did!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
