Question: Do you know any WWII veterans which was a POW!.!.!.!?
Im making about a research about!.!.!.

how they managed themselves after the end of the war!.
(specially those who where captured by the japanese and experienced brutality)

i mean!.!. do they hate the Japanese!? do they discriminate japanese if they ever see one!?

My cousin was a POW on Corregidor!. He had no bad feelings about the Japanese in general!. They were trying to protect their country just as he was protecting his country!. He hated the individual people who tortured him and made him walk on the "Death March on Corregidor", but not the people me saw after he came back home!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

My uncle, who died several years ago, was a pow!. The Germans were also brutal and cruel!. The camps were not anything like the movies and tv shows depict them!. The huts had very little heat, no plumbing and they were given just barely enough food to stay alive!. Beatings were frequent!. Sometimes prisoners could even be shot for breaking a rule!.
