Question: Is there a young leader in this day and age who had much power and influence as alexander the great did!?

This is quite easy!.

Lets put aside the notion the power and influence is only related to controlling vast amounts of land and armies!.

Lets also forget the idea that you have rule an nation to control and influence the rest of the world!.

Lets also add a number of years to the individual due the longer standards of living compared to ancient times!. Even though all of my examples prospered at an early age!.

Nowadays, power and influence is exerted in many other ways!. It is economic, political and physical suicide to try and control the world as a dictator or sole ruler through war and conquest!. The art or conquest has developed far beyond war and battle!.

If we perform these exercises, individuals such as Bill Gates, Rupert Murdoch and Various leaders in OPEC spring to mind!.

All control to a certain extent how our day runs!.

Weather it's giving us an easier way to send information and watch what our social habits are and thus influence them (Gates introducing Vista and not giving anybody the choice to use XP anymore despite Vista having terrible flaws)!.

Provide us with news and information and controls our mood (Murdoch with Sky News, Fox, various lifestyle channels)!.

Determining how much it costs us to journey from one place to another (OPEC)!.

There are many more young leaders in this world how hold far more control than Alexander ever imagined!.

The all use propaganda, story telling, mind control, fear and
love just like he did!.

No one has assumed that much power since Alexander!. Napoleon had his moments, but the world has been ruled by empires since Alexander!. The Roman empire, the Mongols etc!. Now it is ruled by states and capital!. No one man has this power based on the size of his army and will to dominate!. Www@QuestionHome@Com

No, there are no leaders today of any age young or old that have that kind of power and influence in the world, it's hard to imagine how anyone could ever obtain that much power again!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
