No!. The current problems faced by all the countries in these areas outweigh any scars from colonial times!. Some of the vestiges of British colonial rule were actually advantageous to the locals in that it set up many beneficial institutions!. Most modern countries now face real scars from genocide and massacres by current despots and environmental problems and matters of disease and starvation!.
