Question: Where do I go to get the history of my house!?

For example, I have the address of the house (duh) I have the year it was built and I have the tax parcel number!.
I know that I have to look up the deeds to know who previously owned it but I don't know where to do that!.
I really want to look up the history of the house because I think it might still be occupied with the previous owner!.!.!.if you know what I mean!.

City Hall or County Offices!. They have all the records with names and dates for a specific address!.

The local library may have some information but only if the house has some historical or other significance!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
