In interview and discussions shown on the History Channel by shows like Unsolved History and shows on Conspiracies they pretty much tear up any idea that Oswald acted as part of group or for anyone else!. His own brother said it best he was looking for attention!. There are two reason why the discussion and theory of a conspiracy is kept alive; first because we want someone to punish!. He was such a popular President; he had been a hero in the Cuban Missile Crisis, he seemed to embody a lot of people’s dreams and hopes and suddenly, shockingly that was taken away from us!. If it was a conspiracy then there would still be someone around to punish; Oswald got off too easily!. The second reason is the natural human suspicion of conspiracies!. You have heard the expression “Paranoids have enemies too!.” Just because you are paranoid doesn’t mean you don’t have enemies and just because you suspect a conspiracy doesn’t mean you are wrong; even if there is a lot of evidence that proves you are!. In the long run the person with the more suspicious mind is more likely to survive so that trait is in us and reinforced!. It is why talk about other conspiracies like the moon landing hoax (it was not) and UFOs at Area 51 (yes, they were there and we know them as F-117 Nighthawks now) are so popular!. The “magic bullet” theory does hold true, the bullet made three impacts and it is the proper flight path from the shooter’s location to and through the targets computer simulation and animation have proven that!. The evidence of people on the grassy knoll and a possible second shot on the radio don’t bear up!. The fact that Oswald got those shots off so quickly is just due to his training as a Marine Corp sniper!. The Kennedy family made their fortune in bootlegging so they did have mob connections and when Cuba was shut down by Castro the mob wasn’t too happy about that!. The Bay of Pigs disaster didn’t make them any happier!. Meanwhile the Attorney General, Bobby Kennedy, was cracking down on them and that also made them unhappy; but if the mob wanted to kill someone it would have been ANYONE EXCEPT J!.F!.K!. they rule through threat and intimidation and if they had killed Bobby then they could have put pressure on J!.F!.K!. By killing the president they lost any power that could have been gained and if Bobby or the public had found out it would have been a death sentence for them!. They may not have liked what the Kennedy’s were doing and they may have felt that they were promised things and not given them; but politicians are famous for doing that!. Frank Sinatra was connected to the mob because the mob supported his career, not because he was a member!. He was also connected to the Democrats and performed some shows for them for free, just as modern day actors and singers do!. He might have had something to do with the situation except that the mob wouldn’t have made Sinatra one of their pawns!. They liked his singing and wouldn’t want to hurt that, they liked that he was an influential Italian and wouldn’t have wanted to hurt that and he was an Italian, but not a “family” member at least not of the Costa Nostra!. He couldn’t avoid seeming to be connected to the mob because the mob guys wanted to seem connected to him and share his spotlight; to stay popular he had to allow it!. He set up plans for Kennedy to visit him and when rumors of his mob connections spoiled it Sinatra went out and broke up the concrete landing pad he had made just for Kennedy to land on by himself with a sledge hammer (from his autobiography shown on the History Channel)!. He was mad, but not so much at Kennedy or at the Mob, but at the people who let rumors taint him!. If Sinatra had been really connected to the mob it would have come out by now!. There is a saying; “Two people can keep a secret, if one of them is dead!.” All the great secrets come out eventually!. We know that N!. Tesla was a Soviet Spy for Stalin and he is seen as one of the United States greatest inventors!. But, Stalin didn’t trust him and had him put in jail for a year!. This was a huge shock to the US and we found out only after the Cold War ended and we got access to the documents and from defectors!. If the Soviets had been involved in J!.F!.K!.’s death that too would have come out at some point; Oswald lived in Russia, but he was a poor communist and soon grew tired of it and left!. He had a wife to threaten so the Soviets had a hold on him, but she didn’t like him that much after he left and it wasn’t much of a hold!. He was unstable and the Russians knew it so they wouldn’t have used him, besides we know about most of the famous hits they made or were involved in and not a trace of it has come to light, at least not any proof that withstands the light of scrutiny!. The Secret Service took a great shock after Kennedy’s death and tightened up and improved their organization, but even before Kennedy was shot they were not slouches and the FBI was still under Hoover and going strong!. If there had been a conspiracy afoot those two organizations would have gotten wind of something either before it or much more likely in the countless investigations afterwards!. The official Warren Commission and the autopsy done after Kennedy’s death were some examples of sloppy work!. That is why now days a specified doctor would do the autopsy and a special crew would be on hand to monitor it, this came about because of the mistakes made after Kennedy’s death!. There is also a more detailed investigation process again because of the mistakes made by the earlier investigators!. We do learn from our mistakes, most of the time!. Jackie Kennedy was in shock and like most Americans (Jack quoted a figure of 80% but never said where he got it from) she thought that something this monstrous couldn’t have been done by a lone gunman!. When she said “Let them see what they have done!” She was trying to show the public her shock and outrage and IF Oswald hadn’t acted alone then anyone else would have been shocked by what happened!. Johnson stepped into office pretty quickly because he was urged to, required to and the politics of the time demanded it!. We had to look strong to the Russians!. He didn’t want to take the oath right away but Jackie herself insisted he did!. Everything comes out eventually, even the identity of Deep Throat came out before his death and only 3 people knew who he was!. Two of them swore to not reveal his name until after his death, but Deep Throat needed to write a book to get the money for his cancer treatments!. The allure of money, fame and the sheer desire to tell someone is the fault and failing point of most conspiracies!. It is why we know what the Russians did and why their latest assassination plot with radiation poisoning was found out pretty quickly (that and the Russians were never subtle)!. If there really was something to the J!.F!.K!. assassination conspiracy it would have come out by now!. If a US agency like the CIA had been involved then it surely would have leaked out!. Not to say that their aren’t conspiracies and frankly it is wiser to suspect one just in case!. If there was no conspiracy then there is not much harm, but if there was one than the repeated and continued probes would find it!. Of course even the National Inquirer has given up on this one because they can’t find anything that hasn’t been gone over to death (pun intended, sorry I like puns)!. I think Oswald acted alone and he did it for his own reasons!. One big reason for that is because all the past assassination attempts were done by lone groups that were never on anyone’s radar!. Yes, John Wilkes Booth was in a conspiracy, but it didn’t last too much longer after his death and when it was alive it was only a few people and no one took them seriously!. Booth’s assassination was supposed to be one of three (History Channel again)!. The fact that he got so far was simply because no one suspected him!. That is the big fault of conspiracies it takes planning to do one and if more than a very small group is involved then those plans come to light eventually!. If even three people were involved in a conspiracy history has shown (as with Deep Throat) that eventually something will come out!. I don't think Oswald acted alone, there were too many strange happenings that day - the gunmen seen on the grassy knoll, the hobos, and so on!. I think Jack Ruby shot Oswald to stop him from talking (or having a trial)!. Jackie Kennedy would have been in such a state of shock after the assassination, saying 'let them see what they've done' doesn't really point towards her acknowledging a conspiracy!. I believe that the CIA and the mafia had a lot to do with Kennedy's assassination!.
