Question: Jack the Ripper, what do you think!?
I'm reading Patricia Cornwells book on Jack the Ripper!. According to her it was a man named Walter Sickert!.
Has anyone read it, and what are your thoughts on her deductions!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

I've read bits of articules on Cornwell's Sickert theory and I can agree with her Sickert theory but it makes you think if he was the Ripper especially with his painting "The Camden Town Murder", something doesn't seem right!.

I like the whole Ripperology thing and I love reading about other suspects like Frederick Bailey Deeming or Thomas Neill Cream!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Cornwall is way off the mark - and she destroyed one of Sickert's paintings to 'prove' her crackpot theory!.
My suspicions lie with Tumblety - and American quack doctor who fled London under a cloud of suspicion - had lodgings near the scenes of the crimes and left a bloodied shirt!.
For a really good idea of the crimes, the victims, the police, the letter and Victorian London see:
