As a child i lived in high rise flat (Yes there was some) on the tenth floor overlooking kings cross station , it was about 1941 and used to go up into the Attic and watch the dog fights , and saw a German bomber crash into the station and blow up , the blast knocked me over , i was four!. I was evacuated and lived with my mothers sister in a village called Cotismore in Cambridgeshire and a German or italian fighter came over with all Guns blazing many bullets hit the roof of the house and it caught fire , it then bombed the aerodrome just behind the house killing many RAF pilotsWww@QuestionHome@Com
