Yes - but I believe we had to pay for the shipping and we definitely paid for the site where it was erected!.

I agree that it probably had something to do with their recently acquired form of Democracy being in some ways similar to ours!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

The statue was given in 1889 in honor of USA's new democracy!.!.!. a gift from a "political sister"!. There weren't that many democracies back then! Www@QuestionHome@Com
