Question: Can you remember exactly what you were doing!?
on the night of Y2K new years eve and 9/11/01!?
New Years Eve going into 2000 a lot of computer companies were afraid of what would happen!.!. would their computers be able to make it through into the new year!? Would the Y2K bug get them!? Well I was 10 or 11 years old and my dad was a cab driver at the time!. We sat outside this new years party that he was on call all night for waiting for the clocks to switch over!. They did, nothing happened!.!.!. no lights went out or anything!.!. I was disappointed!
Now 9/11/01 -- I was 12 or 13 in 7th grade, in my home economics class that was required and I was staring at this girl I had a crush on for a few years!.!.!. anyways!.!.!. We just got out our touts with all our sewing supplies in it and sat down to start the day!. It was my first class by the way!. Then all of a sudden the tvs came on and an annoucement came on saying that we were going to watch the news the whole day and to forget about what we had to do!. Some ppl in the class cried, including my crush, but I just stared at the tv!.!.!. like holy crap!. We ended up getting out early that day and not having school the next day!.!.!.

dude on night before 2000 i was so scared!. i was at my moms friends house and they had a lot of fam and friends over!. everyone was playing cards, eating, karoke, chilling and me and couple of kids (we were 10) were playing card games(spoon) and watching some movie about a dog!. i think its called K-9!. and the countdown came and nothing happened!. still paranoid though!. i went to sleep woke up, and slowly creeped to check out the outside via window!. thought everything was gonna be on fire and stuff lol!.
on 9/11 i remember like it was yesterday!. i woke up and walked outside to my living room and my mom had the t!.v!. on to news(rare) so i asked y u watching the news!? a plane got hi-jacked and crashed into the pentagon!. i was shocked!. and it was after that i went into my room again and found out the twin towers got hit as well!.i was devastated!.!.R!.I!.P!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
on the night of Y2K new years eve, i was at home with my parents, my aunty, uncle and a few of my cousins!. we all watched the tv as the clock ticked over, nothing happened, so we just ended up watching the fireworks like we do every year!.
and for 9/11/01, i actually live in australia and it was around 3am when the first plane crashed over here!. i remember my mum comin into my room and we turned the tv on and just sat and watched the tv for like 2 hours, we saw the 2nd plane crash live into the tower, it was horribleWww@QuestionHome@Com

9/11 - I had a night off work, but was just getting ready to go there to go out when the other guys had finished!. It came on the TV and I rang the restaurant and told them to put on the TV - any station!. When i got down there the whole restaurant - customers included, were glued to the tele!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
1/1/01 - I was like 7, and we went out to a Millennium party at one of my parents' friends place!. Kind of uneventful!.
9/11/01 - Woke up normally, wondered why Cheese TV wasn't on, went to school, where I finally found out what was happening!. As you can imagine, being in 8 and in Australia, I didn't really understand as much I would have liked to, but I do remember yelling at a boy who said it was funny!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
Y2K was the most lame hoax ever, my parents were freaking out about it, stocking up on food, gas, and sandbags <---random!.
For 9/11 all I remember is my mom coming into my room and waking me up by saying, "You need to see this, your missing history!.!.!." I stumbled into the living room and plopped down on the couch!. 9/11: i was in class!. the dean came in to tell us of the news!. we all left the classroom to see it on the tv at the student center!. then our messed up teacher made us go back to the classroom so that she could continue teaching!. can you believe that!?!?!? the dean came back to get us!. people just walked out on her teaching!.

All I remember about Y2K was that we were stocking up on food and water and stuff!.!.!. I didn't understand it, but I guess it didn't matter because nothing happened!.
9/11 I can remember much more clearly!. It was 4th grade!. I was getting ready for school when I heard my whole family start talking loudly and excitedly!. I went to the TV and watched a tape of some buildings on fire replayed over and over again!. I didn't understand!. My mom explained quickly, then the second plane hit!. I still didn't know what was happening, but the reaction from my family was enough to make me scared!. The worst part was when my grandma said, "This is war!."
