In my opinion the land where the World Trade Center stood should have been made a memorial park!.

I think the construction technique will be different this time around!. Designers have learnt from the previous 'mistakes'!. These were not actually mistakes as such - they were legitimate building practices - but the vulnerabilities of those practices will be taken into account the next time around!.

As to protection, you'd have to direct that one to Homeland Security, though I doubt they will tell you their strategy!.

I have no reason to visit the place but would go there if necessary!. It's as as safe a place as anywhere else really!. Probably more so now that people are more alert to the dangers!.

It could happen again, different method maybe!. There still seem to be plenty of nutters around who are willing to do or attempt to do this sort of thing!.

Bottom line is that there is no guarantee that we will not be subject to the violence of mad people no matter where we are or where we go!. You just have to get on with it and not let fear rule your life!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

I would've thought the whole idea of rebuilding a world trade centre would have been to kind of rise up after the attack, build it bigger and better, you know, show that you can't be beaten by the terrorists!.
I've seen pictures of the new tower and i think it will look beautiful!. I'd definately want to go see it!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

It's bad building a replacement!. It's going to bring up bad memories, for the families of the victims, the soldiers who have been killed because of the war!.
A memorial should be built, to honour the dead innocents, but no replacement Twin Towers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
