If you are taking honors history I would hope you are doing more research than asking a question on Yahoo answers (no offense)!.

However, Martin Luther was a German who was a leader of the reformation of the Christian Church in Europe, shifting the churches focus from a top down hierarchy where law flowed down from the Pope to a more personal form of religion!.

I agree with the person who said you should research this yourself, but here is a start!. Martin Luther posted his 95 Theses on a church door in Germany and by so doing started the Protestant Reformation!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

also, he was an anti-semite!. His "On the Jews and their Lies" reads a lot like Nazi Germany's policies toward the Jews (short of the systematic genocide)!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
