Question: Census available after 1901!?
I know there is a wait of about 70 years before a census is released but what happened between 1901 and 1940 (the next to be released) considering they were evey 10 years through the 1800s, and where could I view these online mainly 1910 or 1920!?Www@QuestionHome@Com

Is this the UK!? the next census to be published is the 1911!. you can pay a special search fee if you know the address, otherwise you need to wait until it comes online!. I think it's due next year on www!.findmypast!.co!.uk

I don't believe there was a Census taken in 1941 due to WW2Www@QuestionHome@Com

I gather you're enquiring about the US censuses!. The answer above notes that the UK census for 1911 is the next one to be released; in Canada, the 1911 census has just come online!. So those researchers in the US are fortunate indeed that censuses up to and including 1930 are available online!.

I'm not sure which of the genealogical sites came up !.!.!. Ancestry!. com, Genealogy!. com !.!.!. but googling my family name and the family's location (state) gave me basic information about family members in 1910 and 1920!. I'm sure subscribers would have access to more information, perhaps the original records, but what I got was helpful, and free!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
