1 has to be Adolph Hitler, because of the 10 he had by far the greatest impact on world history!. Thanks to him the Soviet Union came into being, computers were developed, rockets were improved, and much more!.

#2 would probably be Christopher Columbus!. Had he not "bumped" into America on his way to Asia, there may never have been a United States!. Chances are, however, America would have been "discovered" by someone else, just a few years later!.

#3 could be Queen Victoria, primarily because of her long reign and subsequent influence on European and American culture!.

All of the others are much harder to rank, simply because each had a fairly equal impact on history!.

While Genghis Khan built and ruled over a vast empire, that empire failed to survive his death!.
Julius Caesar ruled over a vast empire, but that empire was already in place when he took power and survived his assassination with little trouble!.

Hirohito was Emperor of Japan during World War II, but his personal involvement in that war was extremely limited; the Japanese fought to preserve their Emperor, but it didn't really matter who that Emperor was!.

Winston Churchill definitely had great influence over British affairs during World War II, but whether he had any lasting impact on history itself is questionable!. He is definitely a major part of British history, but he did not really help create that history!.
