- Navajo codetalkers from the U!.S!.
- Ghurkas from South Asia
- King's African Rifles from East Africa
- Afrika Korps from Germany & Italy
- Allied scientists working on the Manhattan Project
- Axis scientists working on the Nazi nuclear energy program
- Unit 371, Japanese scientists who experimented with bioweapons
- Blackshirts from Fascist Italy
- Storm troopers, Gestapo, and SS from Germany and Nazi-occupied Europe
- Muslim divisions of the SS recruited by Mohammad al-Husayni in Bosnia
- Sledge Patrol, 15 Danish soldiers that, with help from the US Coast Guard, fended off German landings in Greenland and protected vital weather stations
- Finnish ski troops, and Soviet ski troops from Siberia
