There was little food or water, and people died every day!. On an average trip, about half the slaves died!. They were piled up in the cargo hold (much like the Jewish concentration camps in WWI but with even less room)!. They would pass up the dead each morning!. There were no showers or even sponging available, and they were mostly naked!. Www@QuestionHome@Com
