Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Great Britain and Ireland are both large countries with alot of variation in them!. There are parts of Britain that are alot like Ireland!. However, the less celtic and religious parts of britain like London or Surrey are nothing like Ireland at all!. They are very close to eachother geographically but have very different cultures!. Www@QuestionHome@Com You visit Ireland with that attitude and you will be beaten to a pulp!. I'm not condoning it I'm just warning you!. The two are totally different!. They both have completely different cultures and landscapes!. Amazingly enough they also have different climates!. Ireland is wetter and more 'lush' because the wind is coming from the ocean while Britain has a more continental climate!. also Great Britain isn't a country it is three countries!.
