Best Answer - Chosen by Asker:
The triangular trade was where the
a!. New England Colonies traded rum for slaves from Africa THEN
b!. From Africa these ships took the slaves to the Caribbean where
they exchanged the slaves for sugar and molasses!. Then
c!.From the caribbean they took the sugar/molasses to New England
where they made, surprise, rum and it all started over again!.

Economic results:
1!. For New England it gave this area the economic wealth they could
not make by growing crops, like they did in the middle and southern
colonies!. Trading/merchants were there primary source of making
money!.
2!. The south received their slaves brought over by New England ships!.
This causes huge problems when the people in New England
decided that the south should end slavery!. Hyprocracy maybe,
slavery was OK when New england had made money from it!.
3!. Politically New England openly flouted/violated England's
Navigation Acts concerning trade!. New England became the land
of the smugglers, especally of tea, ask John Hancock and his
main lawyer buddy, Sam Adams!. When England tried to enforce
it's trade laws New England lead the protest against English rule!.
Hope that helps some!. Packers!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
