Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: thts a tough question to answer when you look at the previous world wars the situations were more of many countries fighting against one or 2 countries because of an injustice!. rite now its more many different countries fighting with each other, each with a different cause--therefore i dont know if it is fit to call this time period world war threeWww@QuestionHome@Com No, what is happening is nothing unusual!. There have been nothing but problems in the Middle East since the end of WWII, the issues with Africa are ones that have been going on in that region for decades because of corrupt governments!. As for Russia, this is nothing different from what the old Soviet Union did!. All of this has happened before but the countries may be different!. This is not even close to WW3Www@QuestionHome@Com I think technology has rendered an all-out super-power vs super-power war near on impossible!. What we are seeing now is localised conflicts but throughout history there has always been conflict soemwehere!. Now a true world war based on the same principles as the other world wars (i!.e!. war officially being declared by all the major powers in the world) would be a very quick war and would in most probability bring about the destruction of most of the world!. It would probably be something best avoided and personally its something I'm praying never happens!Www@QuestionHome@Com Not really, I think a lot of countries remain fairly unaffected to the violence in those regions!. Obviously I wasn't around for the first two so I can't compare the situations, but it doesn't seem like the same thing to me!.
