George Washington!. He won the revolution against all odds!. He could have been king, but chose to head a nation based on principles, not personality!. He invented the job of president -- literally!. Much of what we do today is because of him!. And he quit the job when his term was up -- though he could have been "President for Life!."Www@QuestionHome@Com

I like Ben Franklin as well!. While I don't agree with some of his, we'll call it "Life Style" choices; but he is one of the more interesting figures in American history!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
