Romance languages still use the male/female version of certain words!. Some seem to make no sense, such as a pistol!. The weapon sounds and looks very male like but in Spanish it uses the female form of La Pistola instead of El Pistola!.

I doubt the ancients thought much about keeping women from being "Liberated"!. They may have been suppressed back then but I doubt anyone thought of the descriptive male/female as being part of the " plot" to keep the " sisters" down!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Male desire to control and dominate, and an "acceptable" excuse to talk lovingly about something!.Www@QuestionHome@Com

Please, do not tempt me to reply, as sarcasum will only!.!.!.!.etc!.Www@QuestionHome@Com
